Catherine ChengCFO

As the Chief Financial Officer for SEE, Catherine Cheng leads all the finance and accounting functions, establishes investor relationships, and creates processes and procedures to enhance internal control.

Cheng has over 18 years of extensive experiences in strategic planning, valuation, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, and financial modeling. As a partner and the Chief Financial Officer of HQ Gift Cards LLC, Cheng built the company’s financial/operational systems from “ground up’, designed its comprehensive web-based reporting system, and grew the business from a start-up to a leading third party services provider in the Prepaid Card industry.

As a senior executive at Encore Software, #4 consumer software publisher and developer in the U.S. and Canada, Cheng oversaw the departments of Finance, Operations, Information System, and Software Development, provided leadership and guidance in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, contract negotiations, investment decisions, and mergers and acquisitions.

As an investment banker at Bank of America, Cheng was responsible for pricing and structuring cross border large-ticket transactions for companies in transportation and telecom industries. Her clients were mainly located in China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Australia.

Cheng received an MBA and a Master of Business Taxation from University of Southern California, and a BS from Fudan University in Shanghai, China. She is a California Certified Public Accountant.
